Visit in Jerusalem (Jewish oriented)

One-Day Jerusalem Tour – Highlights & Itinerary

Begin your day on the Mount of Olives, the most beautiful panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem. This iconic lookout offers sweeping views of the ancient walls, the Temple Mount, and the heart of biblical Jerusalem—an unforgettable place to start your journey.

From there, we descend to the City of David, the original birthplace of Jerusalem. The tour opens with a stunning lookout over ancient Jerusalem and then leads underground into some of the most important archaeological excavations in Israel. Travelers seeking extra adventure can continue through King Hezekiah’s 2,700-year-old water tunnel, wading through the spring with flashlights.

Next, we continue to Mount Zion to visit the traditional Tomb of King David, a meaningful and historic site located just outside the Old City walls.

From Mt. Zion, we enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and explore the Jewish Quarter. Here we visit the Cardo, the main Roman-Byzantine street, and the famous Burnt House, a powerful archaeological site that preserves a home destroyed during the fall of the Second Temple.

Our journey continues to the Western Wall Tunnels, one of Jerusalem’s most impressive underground experiences. These excavations reveal the full 488-meter length of the Western Wall, along with ancient halls, streets, and remarkable remains from the Second Temple period.

To complete the day, we visit the inspiring Chain of Generations Center, a unique exhibit near the Western Wall. This immersive experience leads visitors through the story of the Jewish people—from the biblical forefathers and twelve tribes to the modern State of Israel—portrayed through evocative art and glass sculptures.
